Shellback Ranch - The 2019 Western Boots & Ancient Roots (WBAR) was held Saturday, June 8 at the beautiful Shellback Ranch with over 130 parishioners and friends in attendance. This year, we met in the barn loft for an evening of fun, faith, music, and friendship.
Mr. Tim Joannides, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee at Holy Apostles welcomed all those present and thanked our sponsors and supporters. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Land & Building Development Fund in order that we may move ahead with the planning and breaking ground of our byzantine style church. A highlight and favorite of many attending the WBAR from year to year is the live auction run by the esteemed Mr. Steve Price. This year, Keni Thomas returned to WBAR and offered a great musical performance along with his friend and fellow performer Kevin. Keni served as a US Army Ranger and was in the battle in Somalia during the conflict there. He is now a country musician and it was a joy to spend the evening with such a patriotic American! It was a great evening for all!
