Beloved of Christ,
“But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? (1 John 3:17)
By God’s gracious care and guidance our community will begin to build a benevolence fund. This fund will be in place to care for those among us with needs, and thus show forth the abiding and enduring grace of God within our community, and show our love and fidelity one for another in a bond of unity.
If you would like to contribute to the fund, please send a check with a note in the “Memo” expressing that the check is intended for the benevolence fund, or offer cash with a similar note.

Please do not be shy or ashamed if you have a need. St. Basil said to the rich of his day if you have and do not give you rob the poor of the grace of God given to you on their behalf…allow God’s grace intended for you in your time of need to be offered to you through your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
