OCF Big Event at UW
Living the Faith on Campus!

- OCF Leadership Board -

The Big Event is an event that strives to uphold the ideals of unity and service. This one-day event at UW is not based on socioeconomic need, but rather a way for the student body to express their gratitude to the entire community which supports the University. Our OCF chapter participated once again this year.

It was a chilly morning, but our OCF is a hearty bunch. They gathered early, received their assignments and went to work. At the conclusion of the event, UW brought the students together to enjoy a meal and fellowship.

Our OCF chapter also met earlier in the week for their monthly meeting and meal. It was a great get together!

Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is the official Orthodox Christian collegiate campus ministry program at the University of Wyoming, developed with the blessing of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. OCF is a national ministry which transforms the lives of college students in the United States by guiding them along the path to Jesus Christ through His Church, cultivating a campus community of worship, witness, service, fellowship and education. The vision of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship is: to be the loving presence of Christ and the Orthodox Church on college campuses; to be an integral part of students’ spiritual formation by challenging them to explore the Faith; and to inspire students to commit to living an Orthodox Christian way of life daily.
